Karachi: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Thursday announced direct flights from Lahore to Bahrain.
According to the national carrier, the flights will start from Allama Iqbal Airport from May 5. PIA will operate two weekly flights to Bahrain, for which arrangements have been made.
On February 25, Pakistan International Airlines announced an increase in the number of its international flights.
According to a PIA spokesman, who will increase flights to Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan.
A PIA spokesperson said that the national flag carrier would operate five flights a week between Pakistan and Afghanistan in the first phase.
The spokesperson said that there would be seven daily flights between Pakistan and Kabul in the second phase.
